Visit the Salinas
A visit to the salt pans is an immersion into a landscape where natural geometry meets ancestral human labor. Whether on the coast or inland, the experience reveals how water, sun, and wind transform liquid into crystalline "white gold."
Olhão
Visiting the Olhão Municipal Market, is the vibrant heart of the city and its most iconic landmark. Situated on the waterfront, it consists of two distinct neo-Moorish red-brick buildings topped with dark green domes. The Buildings: Built in 1916, one hall is dedicated exclusively to fresh fish and seafood, while the other houses fruits, vegetables, meat, and regional delicacies like honey and fig rolls.
